Hi, I’m Lindsay Cooperman, founder of edit by lindsay—I’ve always believed that fashion is about more than just clothes; it’s about confidence, and feeling great in what you wear. My journey into fashion started when I was just a teenager, working numerous retail jobs, most notably at a women’s swimsuit and lingerie store. Helping women find the perfect fit—especially in swimwear, which many dread shopping for—taught me how important fit, fabric, and quality truly are. These are the cornerstones of my styling philosophy today.

After graduating from the University of Michigan, I landed a fantastic opportunity with Theory, a global contemporary brand who was well known for adding stretch into their fabrics. Over time, I became the Global Head of Men's Merchandising where I honed my expertise in curating collections that balance timeless style with impeccable fit and quality.

My career took a new direction when I joined Nordstrom Trunk Club in 2015. Moving from merchandising to personal styling and sales allowed me to get back to my retail roots and connect with clients on a more individual level. As Director of Sales and later Head of Trunk Club NYC, I trained, developed, and managed a team of stylists, teaching them how to style, sell, and grow their businesses. This change deepened my passion for helping people find the right clothes for their bodies and gave me the opportunity to mentor others in the art of personal styling and business building.

In 2023, I took all of that experience and launched edit by lindsay, where I help clients create wardrobes that are classic, versatile, and tailored to their lives. Whether you're looking for a fresh perspective or a complete wardrobe overhaul, my goal is to make getting dressed effortless and enjoyable.
